I have been a fitness trainer for over 25 years. In my in-home personal training business in Boca Raton Florida. I’m very grateful to have the opportunity to work with many people that rely on my talents to get them pain-free, healthy and active again. Many of my clients come to me with many health issues. Cancer, MS, fibromyalgia, joint replacements and a host of other elements. They have seen the doctors and specialists through their major treatments. Now they are let out into the world to do the best they can buy themselves. This is where personal fitness trainer is so valuable. The right educated and experienced personal trainer could do wonders that not even physical therapists, massage therapists, nutritionists and orthopedic doctors can do. Why because we can do a little boat of everything that’s just right enough to help the client achieve their fitness goals. Now not that we are physical therapists, orthopedists, etc? A good personal fitness trainer with lots of experience brings many different modalities of movement to the table. Personal trainers are now allowed to take courses in massage, stretching, and NKT. We are trained in muscle activation and functional movement also. This is a far cry from the days of just the bodybuilding training that really didn’t go anywhere because people got injured and so. Now all these certifications are very important for a personal trainer to have. But there is one special element that makes the biggest difference. And that’s how the chemistry between the client and the personal fitness trainer works out. This is mostly due to the personal trainers unique set of skills of customer service, listening and having the knowledge to take that client to another level. Somewhere where other doctors, therapists and trainers could not do. In my five way fitness program which is based at home. I bring all the necessary equipment to the clients and work with them privately in a private setting. This way there is no competition, distraction or interference with my client.
Building a relationship is based on trust, caring and a sense of understanding the client. Just as much is that I’m educated, certified and have 25 years of personal training experience and success. One of my biggest strengths is my relationships that I can have with my clients. It is different than doctors or chiropractors because you don’t see them long. They usually come in interview you be cordial as possible and leave. That’s the reality of it. If you had any kind of physical therapy. You know that usually they spend some time with you in the beginning stages of the sessions. But then they let you just go by yourself And do your own thing. This never happens in my business. A good personal trainer is hands-on. Always watching the technique the client is performing. Adjusting the posture and the movement patterns. And paying careful attention that the client does the movement correctly. In gym settings trainers are rushed, not focused and just buying the time away. That’s not what it’s all. It’s about the personal fitness trainer really carefully using his skills to help the person to each and every movement collectively and best of their abilities.
Many times when I hear about other people talking about their trainer. They start off with a he’s a great guy and I love him or her. Rather than here she is amazing. They really know their skills. Data carrying and passive attitude towards my well-being. And I really respect them for the knowledge and experience.
So the takeaway to this writings is hirer a complete first of the trainer. Someone that across the board fits all the characteristics of a personal trainer. Someone with good track record of experience and knowledge. That is deeply committed to your fitness goals. And will do whatever it takes to get you to a better place in your fitness routine.
