Running

Cardio exercises are wonderful for your heart and get your muscles working hard! There’s nothing wrong with grabbing your earbuds, your running shoes, and hitting the pavement (or sand, for you lucky ones by the beach!). We know that running by itself can be a little boring, so try to mix it up a little bit. Try interval training by jogging for a few minutes, sprinting for one minute, and alternating back and forth.

Planks

One of the best core exercises you can do without equipment is a plank. Planks strengthen your back, your abdominal muscles, and your shoulders. In order to do a plank, get into a press-up position and bend your arms. Make sure all your weight is on your forearms and lift your abdomen off the floor. Try to create a straight line from your shoulders to your ankles and hold this position for as long as possible without hurting yourself!

Stairs

Another wonderful cardio exercise is the stairs. If you have a two-story home, you’ll be amazed how much of a workout you can get just by sprinting up and down a few times!
