As a personal trainer and fitness expert, I come across people that asked me how I feel about breakfast. Should then have breakfast first thing the morning? This is a very important topic that is brought to many people’s attentions that are trying to keep healthy and fit. There are many different thoughts from many experts on this topic. I would like to go over a few of them and the objections people make.
- Many people give the excuse that there is not enough time in the morning. First you must plan and have a program and know what you’re eating. Once this plan is in effect. It is very simple to take and action. Giving yourself a half-hour in the morning can take a long way towards making much progress and feeling better throughout the whole day.
- It is very important to know how your body reacts to food early in the morning. Depending on how much body fat you have, your fitness level and your goals. This will dictate what you should have in the morning. Overweight people that need lose body fat should stick more to a high-protein, moderate fat breakfast. This will give them a sense of fullness and keep the energy levels balanced.
- Then there is a breakfast that is the protein and carbohydrate orientated. This breakfast is more for athletes, fit individuals or people that don’t really have a weight issue.
As a personal trainer in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. I’m always asked what kind of breakfast I should recommend? The answer to that for me is easy it all depends. On the client’s fitness goals, fitness level and the effort they’re willing to put towards accomplishing their goals.
It is very important for a fitness trainer, to be sensitive to the clients eating habits and issues. Usually my private fitness studio, I have the convenience of discussing my clients weight loss issues and goals in private. That way they could be motivated educated and be put on the right course or direction.
